Joseph Julian began full-time in the construction business, with James Julian, Inc., in 1958. He participated in many jobs in Delaware, starting with Dover AFB runway widening and operational apron. Joe was involved in numerous utility jobs in Pennsylvania. Joe was then involved in Baltimore City Jobs such as MLK Parkway, then SHA jobs such as Capital Beltway job between the Mormon Tabernacle Church and Wisconsin Avenue, along with several jobs in the Elkridge area and in addition to several jobs in the Hanover area. Joseph Julian spent a good portion of his career there as the President and one of the primary shareholders of James Julian, Inc.
In 1992, Joseph Julian started his own company JJID Inc with a handful of select employees. Since that time JJID has worked in Baltimore County and Hartford County and some smaller jobs in Baltimore City and mostly in DE and Eastern Shore of MD. Joseph has a wonderful wife, 6 terrific children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Joe’s hobby is construction and now works part-time at JJID. He is interested in sports, a follower of Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens. Joe, also enjoyed a period of 4 great years as Officer and President of The MD Highway Contractors Association, now known as the Maryland Transportation Builders & Materials Association. Joe has served and been asked to serve on the boards of numerous organizations.
