DelDOT awarded this Contract to JJID for the creation of a Bicycle and Pedestrian trail over wetlands, rivers, and other challenging terrain. Projects like this come along too infrequently- it is a perfect mix of beauty in design, impact on the community, and challenge in execution. These are projects that Contractors like us love to work on, as they challenge our experienced Teams and create a legacy for the community to enjoy.

This project was incredibly unique in the challenges that it presented: Driving Piles in a Wetlands environment using barges and throughout the marsh, creating a specialized access road with zero impact, setting 2 bridges over separate water bodies on barges, and most importantly protecting the wetlands environment.
